In April 2020, we awarded 82 scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year.  We support coastal West Marin students enrolled in public and private colleges and universities in California and other states for up to four years.

The IGC Scholarship Fund evolved from an initial award of $250 - made in 1960 by the Inverness Garden Club - to its current level of giving more than $500,000 annually to deserving scholars. In 2018, the Garden Club and IGC Scholarship Fund separated into two not-for-profit corporations: the Inverness Garden Club Scholarship Fund and the Inverness Garden Club of West Marin.

The majority of donors to the IGC Scholarship Fund have strong connections to West Marin.  Our community is supporting our young people in their pursuit of higher education and productive futures.
